SKILLS DEVELOPMENT COURSES
The pilot skills development courses are dedicated to provide private tuition (3 student maximum) for licensed pilots. The courses will focus on individuals goals or fine piloting skills including launch and landing techniques and considerations; ridge soaring; terrain proximity flying; thermalling; Cross Country; paraglider control in turbulence and emergency situations; speed to fly; top landing and tandem flying.
Includes theory and practical sessions.
HGFA PG3, PG4, PG5 and Tandem Endorsement assessment, training and Exams
HGFA ratings
We provide assessment, training, theory and practical exams for PG3, PG4, PG5 and Tandem HGFA ratings. Please contact for more details.
Cross Country Progression
SkySurf Paragliding offers personalized Cross Country Clinics including theory and practical sessions. We cover all aspects of distance flying from weather forecast assessment, route planning and strategies, thermalling techniques and speed to fly, safety considerations and decision making.
The instructor maintain radio communication with the pilots at all times and actually takes off and flies with the group the whole flight providing real time advice and explanation. Includes briefing and de-briefing for every flight.
